Every parent knows so well the heavy and bulky car booster seat that all of us hate. But despite that fact, it always must be installed in the family car because we really love our children. It’s for their safety whenever the gang goes on a trip, making sure we don’t lose one on the way home.
On the flip side, these seats are typically difficult to install, uncomfortable and they certainly take up a lot of space no matter how you plan to position them. Time to check out what modern world has to offer us, take a look at the mifold!
mifold is a grab-n-no car seat designed by Joh Sumroy. It’s a whole lot smaller than the regular car seat, yet it’s just as safe and durable. Here’s a direct quote from creator of this great product to best explain how mifold works:
I thought, if I could make a booster that was really small and really tough - one that could easily be taken everywhere - then our children could always be safe, no matter whose car they are in. It took a few years, and now my children are too old for booster seats, so I am delighted that other parents and caregivers are benefitting from the invention.
Regular booster seats lift the child up to be in the position of an adult; mifold does the exact opposite: instead of lifting the child up, it holds the seatbelt down. The patented design takes the seat belt of the stomach and the neck, making it safe, comfortable and easy to use. Now since the child does not need to be lifted, then the booster can be flat. If it can be flat, then it can be folded, making it both compact and portable.
At the the size of a paperback book : 10” long and 2” thick, it is less than 4 and a half inches wide when folded and weighs less than 1.8 pounds, all thanks to the super tough plastic polymers (such as Delrin 100ST from Dupont) and 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminium. The staffs at Aww Cute Nation all agree that you will love this product as much as they do , hence it goes onto the top of today’s list. You’ll also be glad that you no longer have to struggle with the traditional booster seat anymore!
